I am honored to lead the HayesX company and bring our premium eVTOL aircraft to the market. Built in the US, HayesX-250 eVTOL is an exciting, safe, and sustainable ultralight aircraft empowering those who always aspired to fly to fulfill their dream.
We are fortunate to have founding members on our team who draw on their extensive aviation experience to engineer and develop HayesX as a quality aircraft focused on performance and safety. Indeed, our co-founder comes from a US Air Force and SR-71 family with a lifetime aviation tradition.

Ciaran Hayes
Founder and CEO
Ciaran was formerly a Chief Executive, regional airport Board Director and a Harvard University Senior Fellow. With over 20 years senior management and governing experience including sustainable transport, he has the vision, strategic management and leadership expertise to lead HayesX into the future.
Tim Hayes
Co-Founder
Tim grew up on a number of Air Force bases. He later built his career working in the global financial industry. HayesX eVTOL democratizes flying and brings it closer home for Tim and others who always aspire to fly. As a military brat, Tim’s other passion is history, especially American military history.
Ben Liu
Head of Technology
Ben has over 20 years engineering and aviation experience. He has led the design and development of eVTOL aircraft, hybrid UAVs (drones), and light sport planes. Ben embodies the rare blend of strategist, engineer, and aviator. He is dedicated to bringing personal air mobility closer to everyday life.
Will Perez
Head of Sales and Marketing
Will grew up in Manhattan Beach in Southern California. He has had various sales and marketing experience in companies, including a marketing agency. Will is leading our effort in promoting HayesX eVTOL to the broader market. Will is a sports enthusiast and avid golfer.

HayesX is aptly based in the Mojave Desert, which is also home to Death Valley, the lowest elevation in the US with a depth of 282 ft below sea level. It is also the filming location of Top Gun films.
LAS VEGAS
HayesX is strategically located near Las Vegas, one of the most popular destinations with over 40 million annual visitors. Las Vegas area is a perfect location for the growing ultra-light aviation sector.
RED ROCK CANYON
Located west of Las Vegas, the Red Rock Canyon is unique with dramatic shapes and vivid colors. It was formed about 200 million years ago.
SR-71 Blackbird
SR-71 “Blackbird”, faster than a speeding bullet, still holds the record for the world’s fastest jet-propelled aircraft.
William R Hayes, the late U.S. Air Force Major General and father of our co-founder, commanded the wing that took SR-71 operational.

HayesX logo reflects our founders’ Irish heritage. It is a dual effect of a flying vehicle and a swan, which was inspired from “Children of Lir”, the most famous and poignant Irish folklore story of the flight of the Children of Lir. It embodies beauty, elegance and freedom.
